Brampton Chapter

Claudia Green-Russel and then Ontario Regional Representative, Sybil Garrick formed the Brampton Chapter in 1989. Claudia was subsequently elected as the first President of the Brampton Chapter and completed two terms of office.

Events

  • Pre-Mother's Day Brunch on the 1st Sunday in May. Proceeds from this event goes towards our scholarship fund.
  • Annual Scholarship Awards
  • Community Outreach/Liaison
  • In conjunction with two other community organizations, we organize a Black History month Event

Programs

  • We offer free tutorial to all residents of Brampton every Saturday 10:00 -
    12:45 at Notre Dame Secondary School
  • Several Seminars & Workshops throughout the year on issues relating to health, education and currents events
